Only to find out that the question was really meant to be a joke or lighthearted type of question?

A few times. I get the jokes most of the time though. I answered one yesterday that was obviously a joke and people didn't get it and they were giving me TD. The asker thought differently though. I got BA.

Actually when a question seems outrageous or fishy I will look at the person's other questions and that will usually give it away, but I laugh at the other answerers who write a huge paragraph trying to be helpful and serious about the question, haha!
And then sometimes people are just trying to be funny or even myself sometimes and some people are sooo serious and RUDE! That's really annoying.

Yeah...or you ask a question thinking everyone will realize its a joke and you get all serious answers. Like yesterday I asked if we'd be better off if Newton had never invented gravity. And almost every answer stated that he didn't invent gravity and explained to me it was always there......

I've answered something I thought was real, then I thought was a joke, but then the "asker" told everyone that she was serious so that made me feel better :>)

Yes! Someone asked about loose change and it turned out to be a Yahoo user on P&S....
I took it seriously, because of the way the question was worded....
Ohhh well....now I feel completely retarded! :-P

Yesterday about what I wanted on my tombstone.... wrote what I seriously wanted everyone else joked about it, so I edited mine to a joke too
