...not to say "Merry Christmas" since it might OFFEND people. I said "Sure, as long as I have the right to say I am offended when they say "Happy Holiday" to me." I was offended that they would even ask. What do you think?

Sweet V...did you take it down? Why is their offense to Merry Christmas GREATER than yours for Happy Holidays? I would have raised a stink.

Augustine...we understand that and respect those holidays but why won't people respect ours? That's the issue here.

Personally I think people need to get over it!! I don't get offended when people tell me Happy Hannukah or Cinco de Mayo, it is done as a recognition a courtesy!! People just need to not let the differences of others be a problem!! If I hear somebody talking about something that offends me, I don't insist that they quit speaking I just walk away from it!! This kind of stuff makes me angry, I will continue to say Merry Christmas, if they don't believe in it, that is fine, I won't get offended if they give a Holiday greeting to me that I don't believe in!! It is called politeness and respect for others beliefs!! My Personal Opinion!! Merry Christmas Everybody!!

I don't think you even want to get me started on this question so I will keep it short and sweet.
Merry Christmas has been around allot longer then the people it offends and back when it was the ONLY thing to say. The holiday we are talking about is Christmas so why can't we tell someone to have a merry one?? I think people just need something to b***h about and they are not happy if they aren't. I am not a religious person per say but I do believe in the spirit of giving and the spirit of Christmas. Most of this world is Christian so I don't understand why that little % that doesn't believe gets to raise that much of a stink. You say Merry Christmas and say it with pride!! If it is a work thing that won't let you say it then just bite your tongue since they pay the bills but when you are out in public I say......SAY IT WITH PRIDE!!

I wouldn't stop saying Merry Christmas because someone told me to. The holiday is about Jesus and Christians recognizing his birth. As long as you are fair when others say something about Hanukkah or Kwanzaa or any other such reliogious celebration, then enjoy yours! Don't take Christ out of Christmas.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, MERRY CHRISTMAS, MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Merry Christmas.. I know, I didn't think it was right when stores had to display happy holidays, and seasons greetings instead of Merry Christmas.. Why do we always have to change for others.. Hmmm ?

I think if they're that easily offended, they should go live in a freaking plastic bubble far off from the rest of us. If I want to wish you merry christmas, so be it. If i want to wish you happy holidays, thats great to. Toughen up people.

I know, it bugs me. I made a sign for work and someone told me that I could not put Merry Christmas. I had to put Happy Holidays. What a crock.

I've talked to a few chicks when I was younger and we decided we wanted to go out but nothing ever happens. I'm personally really shy and the first girl I dated was like that, it was completely obvious we wanted to date so I think I just asked her. But it would be cool to be asked out by a chick. Just make sure he has an interest in you. If he does or doesn't you could be shut down anyways, either because he's nervous (why he didn't ask you out) or he just is not interested.

I say Merry Christmas , I pray where ever I want, I sing songs with God in it, I do as my beliefs have taught me to do. As an American and a Christian I will do and say what I want until the day I die. I have no reason to be ashamed of my beliefs and traditions , and I have rights so I don't care who likes it.

I say this political correctness is a bunch of nonsense, If you want to say Merry Christmas, then go for it. I'm going to say it. Merry Christmas, everyone.
