Yes i had trouble with the lock on my front door for ages... And then one day as i knew it would i had a meeting (i was in a suit) i was leaving at 5am it was still dark outside and the bloody door wouldnt open i had to hang and drop out of my 2nd floor window with my laptop in my hand ... The floor was all wet and muddy and i slipped over on my **** and got covered in mud ... i then had to get in my car and drive for 3 hours to my meeting and stop off at a motorway service station and try and get all the mud off ..
Looking back it was hilarious but at the time it was soooo not funny !!

No although I was always locked up in rooms, basements and other disturbing places, I would not imagine why a person would want to do this to themself or anyone else but because people did this to me throghout most of my childhood now that I am older I am afraid to be by myself most of the time.
Now that I am a young adult I don't deal with it that much because I went to therapy for it

My hubby once took my keys as well as his own by misteake when he left for work, we had a power cut and I couldn't use the phone, I'd left my mobile in the car so there I was locking in and no phone, a pretty scary 2 hours I can tell you.

No, but I read in the paper earlier about this guy who accidentally got locked in a bowling club, the doorknob came off or something and apparently he was stuck there for three or four days before the cleaner found him!

once i did , i locked myself in the bedroom, or i might of been locked in. remember seeing my mum gran and sister walking down the street, shouted after them, they turned and waved, i was frantic for about god knows how, long they were leaving me behind and i knew they where going to take my gran home, which was a 2 hour journey. i managed to escape or get out of the room. we kids had a habit of taking the knobs of the doors. we always wanted to find out how things worked. well this back fired on me. i legged it down the street. across the field down another street, , MISSED them they where gone. this was more than 40 years ago, not many cars in those days. but was i broken hearted. i thought they had deserted me.. i was about 8 years of age, and i know my mum would not of left me unattended, Dad was probably watching tele.. never told this before, just a distant childhood memory
