Ernie "The Big Cat" Ladd - who was not only a great defensive lineman for Grambling State, but was perhaps the greatest AFL defensive tackle, while playing for San Diego, Houston and Kansas City.

He wrestled in the off-season from 1961-1968, went full-time with the WWWF in 1968, left in 1980 for a six-year stint in Mid-South, retiring in 1986. Ladd wore more than 20 singles and tag-team belts - including a Central States tag title with Bruiser Brody - and had the "King" gimmick long before it became a WWF-E mainstay with King of the Ring.

He was a heel personified and had stated over the years he would have gone into pro wrestling full-time immediately after college, rather than playing pro ball. Ladd had an impact on the industry due to his legit size - 6-9, 320 pounds - and hardcore style. Like Brody, his presence in the squared-circle could bring irate fans to ringside and chairs flying into the ring.

I must agree with greenangeleyes. I totally missed Bam Bam. He was a great big man. Agile, mobile and hostile. Taker is also up there.

I would say The Big Show, he has the best balance because he is huge but still has a pretty extensive move set.
