I don't think so. Only because they are offended by 'Christmas' doesn't mean they don't want a day off.

Christmas has become so commercialised, i am not so surprised if people actually hate it now.

People forget the real meaning of Christmas, no wonder some hate it. Also holidays are here because the government installed them, some people do want a day off.

Sure! I agree, and plenty do.......at least where I work. If they don't celebrate the holiday, they don't have to take it off, and can work that day, and take another of their choice and get holiday pay for it. There are so many different cultures around I guess some companies like mine, just decided to try and be accommodating to everyone. Works for me. I'll be home on Christmas.

Merry Xmas to you all. Now go to the mall and fight for a parking spot then get in 10 arguments with your 10000 fellow shoppers and spread your Xmas cheer cause it's all about Christ right? Bah.
I would rather have a great day hanging out with my family on Xmas (since I have the day off thanks to you) and toss all the commercial crap out.
Doesn't Xmas start right after Halloween now?

Who the heck is offended by Christmas?!?!

Ok, people... I celebrate Christmas, you celebrate Hanukah (or Chanukah), she'll celebrate Kwanzaa, he can celebrate Festivus, and we'll all spend a lovely season together with our families, give to eachother, and appreciate the goodness of mankind for once. Heck, invite me to dinner and I'll celebrate whatever you want me to.

Quit being offended at everything. And YOU... yes YOU... quit being offended by people who are offended at things!

EDIT:
Seriously? Thumbs-down to family, giving, and togetherness? Y'all better go end it all now.

Let people take whatever holiday off they want, and if a business is open on a holiday they don't celebrate, they should be first in line to work.

AGREED!! Open the banks, schools, stores, groceries! Let the Athiests enjoy their SEASON without a Christmas Day off.

That's an EXCELLENT idea! Star for you!!

MERRY, MERRY, MERRY CHRISTMAS!

If they are offended by Christmas they don't know the meaning of Christmas and have no reason to take a holiday
