It's a wreck, and that's a fact. It was laid down on the left side, scraping the tank and swingarm, and apparently destroying plastic on the left side.
After that, it looks like it spent a year out in the rain (rust on the frame and chain).

I don't recommend you buy it unless you want a project bike.

Salvage, $600 - $700. Bring your chain lube, if you buy it.

The price you get for a bike on eBay is what the market will bear - how can someone rip you off on an open auction???

the bike looks rough. check out kbb.com for an estimated blue book value. I did and it said $2820. Probably less with the damage that's in the photos

I'd say $500 would be a good deal for you, I laid down a similar bike, it was a little worse than that but I only got 200

offer them 300.00 that's it. the bike is a wreck. it
has not been ridden in a while you can tell by looking
at the chain it's rusted. this bike has not been cared for.
the engine is probably trashed. if you want a new set
of tires just order your own.

"Runs good" is a matter of opinion. What you need to do is take it to an mechanic and get an estimate - they'll usually do it free.
