Why can't cows walk up stairs?

well like its on a daily basis that cows GET THE CHANCE to walk up stairs in the first place!! ive never seen a two storey field???????????????

i do no longer understand. i do no longer see why all people could save a cow of their homestead, it relatively is animal cruelty :P What i understand is that once interpreting Winnie the Pooh memories as a baby i became continually scared cows could wander into my room, an no longer likely prospect pondering I lived interior the city, even however now you point out it, in the event that they'd't walk downstairs, if it occurred it would be very intimidating!!

Up is no prob to the cows. Down is a big no-no though, unless you put a bucket of bright green, freshly cut grass at the foot of the stairs. Also it helps to give them a sparkly new skateboard with 'NO FEAR' emblazened across it. They can't resist a slide down the bannister rail finishing off with a 720' reverse monkey-knob.

Yes, they can walk up stairs (and will, if given an opportunity).

The problem is that it's very, very hard to get them to go down the stairs.

Cows don't like stepping where they can't see, and tipped forward the way they have to be to descend stairs, they tend to balk.

yes they can walk up stairs. another urban myth i think is that they cant walk backwards, not sure on that one.

i've seen them walk up a ramp with treads as they march cowlike off to the abattoir, does that count?

They can go up but not down .
You can have a BBQ if you get them higher than floor number five .
You must push them off the building to get them down .
