Not always, but sometimes spotting is a sign of implantation. Wait a week or so and take a pregnancy test. Especially if you haven't started your period.

It could be an indication because the spotting could be implantation bleeding. When you miss your period, take a pregnancy test.

No, have you not started your period fully? If you don't start fully then test.
