Why would they care if my computer has a virus?

I've let them and other people use it before. Now, I've decided to say no. I'm tired of cleaning up train wrecks. Running a long scan doesn't work when I'm on it. They know I don't work for any Gov. agency but that's funny. What about my anti-virus subscription has run out and I have to be very careful where I go?

That won't work. The program installs updates all the time. It's installing some now.

Chris Hanson? OK, found him. At first I thought you were talking about the New England Patriot's punter.

I never let anyone use my computer. Ever. Who says you need an excuse? It's your computer. You have a right to say "No way, Jose!"
But if you're looking for a good excuse, tell them that it would void your warranty if anyone else uses it.
By the way, nice avatar! I didn't even recognize you when I asked questions earlier! this is so "out of character" for you! LOL! Love ya anyway.

just say you opened up an advertisment e-mail and it gave you a big virus crashing the whole computer and you have to take it in to restore the whole computer. If they come over again and ask about have you fixed just say either you haven't took it yet or it is too expensive and you have to use the library to do your things online.

because i own it and just dont want anyone using it.
running a scan that can't be interrupted or have anything running at the same time.
i don't feel like typing in the password and aint gonna tell you.
I can keep going here, but remember whether or not it sounds rude... its yours so just say no one is gonna use it.

'I'm sorry, but working for a top secret government agency as I do, it is impossible to give access to anyone.' [smiling charmingly] 'I'm sure you understand'. ;D

Because you need to use it for work. My dad uses his computer for work, and when he does, I can't use it.
