Which do you prefer ? And give me your favorite show,
on 1 of these cable news networks. By the way, I am
a big Bill Oreilly fan. Believe it or not. Yes, us Democrats
watch Fox News. Fo those who don't know. As slanted
to the right, as they are. But oh well. Best answer wins. >>

I prefer CNN and MSNBC over anything on Fox and I have given Fox a good watch for many years.
I tend to like MSNBC just a slight bit more than CNN but I like them both.
I have been a fan of "Countdown" with Keith Olbermann for years.
I CANNOT stand Bill "falafel guy" O'Reilly.

I have lost all respect for Fox and CNN when Jon Stewart got crossfire taken off the air and repeatidly outargues the fox anchors.
Honestly, the Daily Show is great, but when Jon Stewart sits down on their shows, serious, and dismembers the people who are supposed to know a lot about the news, after all they report it, we have a problem.
I never really watched MSNBC that much.
I guess if I had to pick I would pick CNN, just because that is what I watch before I go to work every morning. Robin Mead is also hot.

Well, I consider Fox too far right and CNN too far left, so I stick mostly to MSNBC. The reason I like that channel among the major networks is that they have a good mix of liberal and conservative political pundits on board. For the more liberal minded there is Keith Olbermann, and Chris Matthews (though Chris is a pretty conservative Democrat), and for the conservative there is Joe Scarborough and most notably Tucker Carlson. My favorite is probably Hardball with Chris Matthews. He has a good mixture of guests on his show and is sure that all sides are represented, whether he agrees with them or not.

Fox--Bill O'Reilly
CNN is next
MSNBC is like another world!! They don't have news-they have political agenda. They rant and rave about the Govt and the Pres to the point, I find it hard to believe they can't be sued for slander. I have listened to all but they are a step below any other news reporting organization. They are losing rating to the point of having to refund money to the advertisers. I see them as a non-entity in the near future, USMC 60-68

I like to argue so I like to hear what the GOP talking points are so I'll know what's coming from my righty friends. So, I watch O'Reilly (usually just the first 1/2 hour) and Tucker. To get the real news, I watch a combination of anything on CNN and Hardball. If I feel like shooting my TV screen I listen to Hannity and Colmes (also known as Elect Guiliani TV). My favorite show on these channels is Morning Joe...I like Scarborough despite his right leanings b/c he seems human unlike most righty TV personalities. MY FAVORITE SHOW is REAL TIME w/ BILL MAHER!!!!! (i know its HBO)

You forgot the Comedy Channel, often the best entertainment for news related items for your dollar.
If I had to pick one, I would choose Fox News, but I channel surf all to see how topics are covered, especially breaking news and speeches.
I don't watch much TV though, I find these sound bite agencies are a shallow representation of reading and studying the facts.

Fox News, for me. They may have a slight conservatism view, but I think they are more in the middle then anybody. I like O'reilly but Hannity and Colmes isnt bad either. Even though O'reilly is a conservatism, there is a reason he is the most watched out of News Channel, because of the quality of the broadcast, something anyone can appreciate. Unlike Olberman who only bashes the right. But I will point out Glen Beck isnt bad to watch either.

I actually enjoy Tucker Carlson on MSNBC. He is one of their more right-leaning hosts, and enjoy the balance he brings to the political discourse.
Chris Matthews is a blowhard fool. I can't stand him.
But by far the best guy on TV is Keith Olbermann. He's universally feared and loathed by Cons...which Im sure he takes as a compliment (as he should).
