According to all the surveys, Hillary Rodham Clinton is our next president (Thank God), but of course the election is a L O N G way away, and anything can happen. One mis-step or a wrong look in the wrong direction can lose an election; it has in the past. Just hope for the best............By the way, have a great time in India. My boyfriend is from India, it (and he) are beautiful people in a beautiful country. Enjoy your trip of a lifetime.

Lucky you; I have friends and relatives by marriage in India. No idea at this point who will be in the White House. Ron Paul is interesting; John McCain is a long shot but worth watching. I'm not gung ho any of them and am so tired of all of their BS. ( later) Dammit, of course the White House will still be Bushwhacked in Dec 2008.

Assuming you're leaving and returning to the United States of America, President Bush will be the President when you return.
