Benjamin is a nice name. It is never out-dated and if you shorten it to Ben it still sounds good, it is a common name, BUT, you do not hear it a lot, there are LOTS of names that sound good with it [for a middle name] When he starts school it is not a hard name to learn to spell, and, it is not a name that other children make fun of. I know all of this, because, I have a little boy named Benjamin.
