Are you happy about the up coming playoffs and bowls games?

Are you bummed that both football season will be over in a little over a month and we have to wait 7 months for it to be here again?
I'm torn myself.

I really just watch the NFL. I am bummed because I love football and football is a really short season and it seems to take so long for it to come around again.

Happy about the playoffs and bowl games.
I'm not bummed that it will be over, simply because a lot happens in the NFL during the off-season. Not the same as the actual football, but the events (owner's meetings, combine, other prospect evaluation, start of free agency, the draft, mini-camps etc.) are all interesting in their own way.
And it's not as if football completely disappears. There's always the Arena League, and then there's the CFL, the start of which leads you nicely into the NFL training camps. And for the college scene, spring practices are always intriguing.
So, even though the NFL is on its final straight as far as the 2007 season is concerned, it's not all doom and gloom.

I'm excited about the bowl games and playoffs, although I will miss having 14-16 games a week from which to choose on Sundays.
I also have a hard time getting excited about some of the lesser bowl games. In many cases, I'd rather see some good conference matchups.

I am a mix between the 2 because it shows that God has mercy on me and my fellow Bears fans. We have suffered through a horrible season.
that being said I am pissed off about the bowl scenario and I will be skipping the majority of the bowl season. USC or Vtech should have been playing in the Naitonal Championshi. LSU lost way too late in the season to an Unranked opponent to be playing in the BCS championship game. It looks like they just got handed a championship. I am disgusted by this.

I'm happy the playoffs will be here in 3 weeks because My Boys are the number one seed in the NFC so far. And correction, there is still 2 months of football in the NFL.

I am definitely excited about the playoffs, and happy with most of the positioning. I will be sad to see the end of the season, but it won't be that long until March Madness, and then Opening day for the baseball season.
Football is number one for me, but I enjoy the other sports too, not to mention the better weather.

Im a Raider fan, I would have to say im sad and excited. Sad due to no more Raider games, but excited for the playoffs. I hope to see some big upsets in this years playoffs. I am also excited because I feel coach Kiffin has my Raiders headed in the right direction.

Happy if my Cowboys make it to the Super Bowl and bummed if they don't due to the long wait in hopes they can go next year.

No, after the Patriots make a run at their 4th Super Bowl, I'll still have the Celtics to root for . After that, the 2007 World Series Champions, aka the Red Sox take center stage. Damn, it's good to be a Boston sports fan.

Im excited about the playoffs, although non of my teams will be in it.
