A certified true copy can't be faxed or e-mailed in KY. YOu need to go to the court or have a title agent go there, pay for and obtain certified copies.

Most states charge a flat fee of a few bucks for certifying and .50 a page for the copies. A title company will probably charge you an additional35-50 bucks to pull them

In 'most' counties they can only be obtained directly from the clerk of the court, and there's a copying fee for regular copies, plus a fee to have them certified.

If you aren't close to the county where you need them from, you can hire a legal messenger service to go get them - but they are NOT cheap, as the messenger has to do the same thing as you'd have to. Go to the court, track down the file, wait for the clerk to make copies and certify them, pay for them, and then take them to you.
