Regardless of age, I believe people should dress according to what look's best on them...I have seen many a teen dressed in clothing that does not flatter....either because of their lack of body tone, flab, weight or just the way they are shaped...Even when I was a teen, there were styles that just looked better on somebody else...
My mother is 88...she is trim, slim and still has her figure...Of course she does not revealing clothing [cleavage showing, short shorts] but she still swims in the ocean, wears a bathing suit, and wears leggings with long tops...she's stylish without being fadish.
I was surprised one day when a younger person complimented me on a pair of tennis shoes, and asked..'Did YOU pick those out, or did someone do it for you?"...I asked why she asked...and she said because they were 'neat' and were ones SHE would have bought...Lordy...pray tell, what is the daggum difference? Am I supposed to wear some kind of 'ole lady oxford' 'cause I'm 65?
Other than being less toned, I am still much the same size I always was..have much the same tastes in clothes; do much of the same things I used to do..I am NOT my grandmother...from that era when age dictated clothing for women...
On my last 'career' job, I had a part time employee/receptionist who was in her mid 80's - cute as a button, short pixie hair cut, wore high heel bare backs every day practically and good looking slacks and sweaters and ponchos...neat lady! and no there was nothing about her to offend

Of course I can't speak for everyone, but I think it would be pretty dumb for some one like me to wear my levi's down by my knees or any Senior woman to wear a dress that is no more than a loin cloth like some of the kids wear today. But at the same time, I am not on this earth to judge people, that is for someone or some thing in the next realm to do. If I cannot live my life as I choose, whose business is that but my own. If it offends you, turn your head. We are all a product of our generations. What some people are wearing today has been worn by past generations anyway if you check historical fashions. Nothing a kid does is anyway offensive to me no matter how outrageous. So why should it affect them no matter how outrageous I dress? Just my take on things, no offense to anyone!

i think of that is 0.5 and half. i've got self assurance some teenager women are the two particularly poorly knowledgeable on start administration strategies and a few of them have self assurance that it can not ensue to them, so as that they get caught in a 2nd of interest and the rest is historic previous. however the different 0.5, i've got self assurance they attempt, plan, or a minimum of do not care no remember if or not they finally end up pregnant or not. The exhibits on television, such through fact the infamous sixteen and pregnant, or teenager mom, are actually not helping the certainty the two. I watch those exhibits particularly through fact they interest me, yet they do ensue to glamorize being pregnant. Yea they coach not elementary situations between the mummy and the dad, yet by no skill particularly with the toddler. Yea the toddler cries and the female feeds the toddler, end of the soften down. in basic terms one episode this season became there a concentration on the toddler non cease crying. the toddler finally had acid reflux disease, and it became solved for the main area. If young ones prefer to pass and get pregnant, i assume that's their decision, yet meaning stepping as much as the plate, not greater partying, being an entire time mommy whilst being an entire time pupil, and getting a factor time interest to help pay the charges that i'm specific the mothers and fathers are taking maximum administration over. If my son have been to ever impregnate a girl at sixteen i may be maximum disenchanted. i prefer to instill in him the values of waiting til marriage to have a toddler. in spite of the certainty that i became not married, I comprehend the magnitude and my being pregnant became a thoroughly unplanned bowled over. yet i became 20, so basically slightly older and basically slightly wiser, i might prefer to think of! yet in spite of the certainty that, teenager being pregnant is a extensive issue and as many situations as we've tried to cease it or forestall it, there is particularly not something we are able to do. All we are able to do is prepare them and want that they decide for the greater proper course in existence!!

Frankly, I don't see it anymore where I live. And this time of
the year, everyone is totally bundled up on the streets and
are living in their sweats LOL. Probably sleeping in them too.
It's freezing this morning where I live. And 28f is the low for
tonight.
Years ago, when I worked in retail sales, I did see some
elderly women wearing short skirts and heels while shopping
They had their makeup on and hair styles very classy. So I
suppose they still felt young on the inside, tho it didn't show
on the outter side. There was one lady tho, who didn't know
how to dress right at all. She wore the mini skirts, and vests
and pull on patent leather boots when she'd shop in our store.
She had her hair platinum blonde and really looked like a
Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, wannabe. She was very
humorous to see. And she was always intently shopping and
not aware of people who starred in disbelief. So it would not
offend me at all to see a senior dressed younger. It would
amuse me to make me want to laugh, for not allowing herself
to look more beautiful in her own age group, rather than the
facade she lived behind.

And why, pray tell, should I mind what another Senior wears. If she has any money
to buy clothes, she's ahead of
the game. If she can only
afford thriftstore, that's better
than the alternative isen't it?
I am offended by where YOU are coming from!!!
Your mind is on what a person should wear instead
of who the person is.

Offend me? No. Some look a little strange but there are people of all ages trying to pull off something that doesn't exactly work.

No. I just feel sorry for their lack of good taste. My former stepmother dressed like that and dyed her hair coal black. Poor thing, she looked like a clown. I never said a word. I wouldn't have hurt her feelings for anything in the world. I liked her a lot.

In the words of my 7 year old, "It looks stupid." Yes it offends me. I cannot understand why women have the need to dress like a teenager. They have had children, and it is very rare to see a woman who has a body like a teenager. And I didn't know Angelina Jolie or Halle Barry were senior citizens. My mom dresses beautifully so there is clothing out there to enhance a woman who is growing older gracefully.
The type of clothing I do not like is the clothing raders04 described on older women.
