I understand him wanting to put it all to rest so his team can compete for the national title...but that doesnt really put it to rest does it?
Who else thinks Miles is going to Michigan?
I would bet money in Vegas on it..in fact, if anyone knows a website where I can do that, please post it.

a couple of you have made a good point. It looks like he has a pretty easy buy-out clause in that new contract he signed. Michigan ould pay the 1.5 mil fairly quickly to get him to drop it...you think?
Michigan too high profile to pass up.
I dont think he wil ever be hated as much as Saben though. Saben did i to NCAA and the NFL...and will still screw Alabama as soon as he gets a chance to go back to a team like LSU or UCLA or USC or Florida...or...well...you get the point.

I would be willing to bet with you.. Right after the BCS Championship team I will beat almost anything that he is going to go to Michigan....
I checked every site and there isn't any future bets on that...
I bet he lied to the media to take all the attention off that and he can focus on the National Championshiop Game... But watch he will be a Wolverfine next year.

I'm not aware of the fact that Les Miles has expressed an interest in taking the Michigan job. You may just try to read between the lines. Having said that, I'd prefer that the Michigan head coaching job be open to the best candidate available, not just to "Michigan Men". However, if I had to choose between Les Miles and Urban Cryer, I'd take Les Miles. He does have that fire in him.

I'm not gonna rule out him jumping to Mich because recent history has taught us better (Saban, Billy Donovan, and all the other coaching leaps), but I really think he's staying in LSU. Mich is a high-profile job but since when was LSU 2nd tier? They can recruit in the South, they've got a very supportive fan base, a great home field advantage, Perrilloux will be back the next year, why not coach that team?
Believe it or not, I'm a Buckeye fan, so I hope Les Miles loses to Tressel and then comes to Mich so he can get his butt kicked year in, year out but I think no matter the outcome of the game, he's staying at LSU.

I don't think he will but you never know. I hope he does because I think Tressel can out coach him
whoever said it was gravy that they go to the National Championship or the Rose bowl every year is wrong they haven't been to the National Championship since 1998, and they only went to the Rose Bowl a few times because the Buckeyes went to the National Championship, that was 2002-2003 and last year.

I too believe he will leaving for Michigan once its all said and done and who could blame him. Michigan is a gravy job, high profile, well paying and a chance to play in the Rose Bowl every year if not for a National Championship!

I guess you're willing to lose money because he is not coming to Michigan, for which I am extremely grateful. The man has a bad mouth and a bad attitude. Michigan does not need that.

IF Les somehow wiggles out of the contract he just signed, he would be hated more than Nick Saban ever was. But, it would make no sense for him to sign a new contract knowing that he was going to leave, so I would be surprised if he left at this point.

I have always said he's gone...We'll see...After his press conference, he told the media he will be at LSU next season...So if he's not, he'll have some tough questions to answer...Not to mention ruffle some LSU feathers
