Can i Take extra Loestrin 24?

I play tons of sports and my doctor said to take extra when my periods coming and i dont want it to......can i? and also...what are these stupid brown pills...do they let me have my period?

The brown pills are iron pills. When taking them (because they are also classified as placebo pills) is what allows the period to come.

I would recommend talking to your doctor again to ask for further clarification on what they mean by taking the extra pills.
