No, if they get too much food in them, I take them out and put them in my pocket.

Yes as a matter of fact I do pick my teeth in public. I would MUCH rather see some one picking their teeth than see them with food stuck to them. There is a whole lot worse bad table manners out there than picking your teeth in public. I can't stand for food to be in my teeth at all, so once I am at the check out or leaving, I will get a pick at the desk and clean the food out of my teeth. Think gross if you want, hey it is what I was eating to start with. It just stuck on my teeth and I am going to get it out. Besides, nobody sees the food that you are picking out of your teeth anyway.

I use a toothpick or whatever is handy if it starts bugging me and to hell what other people think, if they don't like it, turn their heads away. Sometimes I will get some toothpicks before a meal in a restaurant just so I can flick what has been stuck between what few teeth I have left on the loudmouth at the next table. My nieces always thought it was funny. Especially when it stuck to the backs of their heads, lol!!!!!

I try to discreetly when I absolutely need to, otherwise I head towards the ladies room which everyone should do the same.. because picking teeth in public.. does not look good!

I do it in a restaurant, yes. Why else would they have the toothpicks on little cups in public places like this? I do it after I have like hard bread or something ;)

Think it's bad etiquette to pick the teeth in publlic and the same with applying make up. Don't like sitting by others who pick their teeth.

I try to be discrete. If it's green and stuck, I go to the ladies room. It's amazing what you can pick your teeth with when it's needed. I've used the post of my earring before an interview once!

I don't need to pick my teeth
cause I only have 3 left, so
I just squish some water around my mouth and spit out
the leftover food.
I do pick my nose sometimes.
I wait until people are watching,
that's a real hoot!!!

I have long natural nails (no fakes) just for that purpose! Right hand over mouth, left hand discreetly under, ring fingernail cleanly inserted between teeth and WoahLa!!
Napkin serves to clean fingernail!
Hey, whatever floats your boat!

It's as gross as picking the noses in public. People that do that are a perfect example that humans descend from apes.

Never! I am not offended if someone else is doing it, but I don't want to watch.
