Blind dates are like everything else. There are good ones and there are bad ones. I've been on both. On some of the bad ones, I wished that being bit by the seeing-eye dog were all that went wrong.

I dated a girl for 3 1/2 years. I broke up with her on a Friday. On the Monday after the break-up, I got set-up on a blind date (by a client, which was a bad idea anyway). I talked to her over the phone during the week and it went amazing. That Sunday (9 days after I dumped the original girl) I went on the blind date. IT WENT TERRIBLE. She was unattractive, which wouldn't have been a problem if her personality was as good as she led me to believe over the phone. She was depressing, high maintenance, no fun at all, and just all around bad. She wasn't anything like she was when we talked on phone! It lasted an hour (at most) and I paid because I felt bad for her. I almost went crawling back to my ex it went so bad. I left there thinking "Oh sh*t, if this is what's out there, I've made a huge mistake."

I was on a blind date that was very short! The guy bought me 1 drink & then his cell phone conveniently rang & he had to go. So, as I was getting ready to leave, I walked back to use the restroom, when I ran into an old grade school buddy & he introduced me to my current husband of 7 years now! ;) I'd have to say in the end it turned out to be good :0)

I've had 2...one very good & the other Horrid! I guess 50/50 isn't too bad. But I think most of the times blind dates don't turn out like you wish for them to.

2 of my girlfriends fastened me up on a blind date. The terrible section approximately it exchange into that the guy exchange into relatively blind. He had taken it heavily correct to the date and my "acquaintances" have been making the entire element a foul comedian tale. I felt so undesirable approximately it yet we went out back and particularly had an extremely advantageous time. We the two found out that it does no longer pass everywhere yet stay acquaintances.

My one and only blind date is the man I married. So it was good. But we divorced 12 years later so it had it's problems. But thankfully, no regrets that we met. Good man, not husband/full time dad material.

Fun Q... Yes. It was fun, there weren't "sparks" or anything, but the anticipation was a rush. I was lucky that the guy wasn't creepy or anything. In my dating days, set ups were worse that this blind date by far....
