LOVED it...I was so shocked by Kevin Costner!!! He played that part really well and I am usually not impressed by his acting...and of course, William Hurt is always incredible. Demi Moore just always bugs me, but to her defense, after about half way through the movie I stopped mocking her in my head...I am a big Dane Cook fan, and he did not disappoint me...wasn't great, but I mean he did a good job!

I was really really surprised by how much I enjoyed it...ok enjoyed could be the wrong word considering the story...I was impressed with it. Very interesting concepts, characters, and I like the format through which it was presented.

Interesting concept. I especially liked the ending where the killer now has to lose sleep over the possiblity of being killed - by his own daughter.

Casting - getting serious after being comedic is not yet a good fit for Dane Cook. Justin Long does this more believably (Live Free or Die Hard). Hurt and Costner were well cast - they're easy enough to confuse when they're in separate movies.

Overall - wouldn't buy it but might see it again.

Mr Brooks was a great movie! I think it was one of Kevin Costner's best movies and was very under rated of a movie... the casting was great and so was the story line....

Yes we did. We both thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Kevin Costner & William Hurt were perfectly cast. Dane Cook & Demi Moore were okay. And what's not to like about Marg Helgenberger?

I thought it was some of the best casting I'd seen in recent years. I know a lot of people thought Dane Cook was miscast but I thought it was his best role yet....cuz he didn't need to act, he basically had to just show up and play himself. Kevin Costner is a bit wooden in his acting, so portraying a disaffected businessman came easy to him.

I thought it was a great movie, top to bottom!

I loved the movie!! But I didn't like Dane Cook in the role that he played. When he tried to do serious lines like the one about killing people that piss him off in traffic, I just busted out laughing. He's too much of a comic for very serious roles. Other than that, it was a great movie.

I did.

William Hurt was a good choice in casting.

Kevin Costner...hmmmmm....he wasn't horrible in the role..but he wasn't well suited either..Though I congratulate him for trying a different kind of role then what he usually chooses

in case you like Kevin Costner, this is one among his extra helpful movies. i'm no longer an excellent Costner fan, so i could supply it 5/10 with the help of itself reward. no longer an excellent action picture, yet probable nicely worth watching.
