She should talk to a personal injury lawyer to see if she has cause, she may have a workers comp claim since she was on duty working when she was assaulted

but it may be a long shot to sue the apartment complex

Is the valuables supervisor a relative of the homeowner? Are the different tenants who're afraid prepared to sign a letter to the owner that they have got their own own reports with this sources supervisor (not in user-friendly terms afraid because of the fact they're witnesses of what has happened to you) do you already know people who've moved out as a results of valuables managers habit & if so, do you recognize the thank you to touch them? have you ever contacted (and have they) contacted the police any & every time something happens with this sources supervisor... if so, have you ever created a reliable courting with the police which you will ask them in the event that they have expertise of this being an on-going difficulty (tell them you at the instant are not inquiring for info, you in basic terms desire to understand if that's an on-going difficulty & what they may well be waiting to share with you) Does your city have nuisance regulations? if so & if there are sufficient lawsuits, then you definately may well be waiting to leverage that into the owner removing the valuables supervisor Plan to circulate (why save risking your own well-being & risk-free practices) in basic terms in case you are able to not get the owner to eliminate this individual You & the different tenants ask the owner (in a team letter) to the two assist you head to regardless of alternative properties he owns with comparable residences at comparable rents with comparable condo agreements or to eliminate the valuables supervisor... and supply case examples of the valuables mangers habit... submit this letter with the help of mail with transport affirmation... and replica all attainable police comments, attaching them to this letter in case you have a community association... each and all of the affected tenants could bypass to conferences... bypass early & ask the community association president and the attending police in the experience that your team can talk with them after the assembly or in the event that they could such as you to advance your difficulty in the process the assembly... once you talk approximately what is going on, ask if all people has any innovations on a answer... you would be shocked the political potential that some community institutions have... if he knows of to assume a circulate-out of numerous tenants at as quickly as, then he would be greater inspired again up with a answer

Sue the owners for what? They didn't beat her. They could have predicted this would happen.

She should be able to collect on workers compensation and disability benefits. I hope she pressed charges against the previous tenant.

To answer your question, yes she can sue. You can always sue anyone. Will she win, probably not.

Yes she can.

She has a work-related injury and she needs to file for workman's comp.

She also needs to see an attorney.
