Man. I dont know if its my personality or what...i get interested in some guys and as weeks pass then i'm like...he's just a friend...and dont have any interest in dating him. maybe i'm too friendly?? What could be the problem? I must say that i grew up as a tomboy so that could be a problem....i mean i talk about sports, play video games, watch sports....is that a bad thing in trying to see a guy as more than just a friend?

I don't think you can force the issue. I also think THE best relationships are built on a foundation of friendship. I should think any guy would find you a great companion with your interests. You're certainly not some empty headed girly girl[no offense intended] I think the fact that you grew up a tomboy probably makes you adventurous, too. In all, you sound like a neat person to know. Just be yourself and one day the sparks will fly, the magic moment will happen, and you'll know it. [Do try a little of the girly girl stuff in moderation, right?]

Bring another girl along (if you can, maybe they won't come?) and then contrive a situation.

Might be best to pick a lesbian and then you can have some fun with her if it all goes wrong. Or she could show him what you want if he is shy. He will, of course, be totally confused.

In John Steinbeck's "Sweet Thursday" the masquerade went completely wrong. That's what secret love can do!

maybe shoot for just friends from the start from now on... and when one turns from a friend to something more... problem solved.
