Government Official huh? And came to where you work for business reasons? Well... he could have really thought that or thought you were hot and that cheezy line is all he knew to break the ice... most likely he was after something. Most of the women i know would say thank you as they were smiling and blushing though.

But my answer is --I would smile and say thank you (if it was female, otherwise I would look at them strange) and then I would ask them "How can I help you?"

probably a, b, and e. i don't think my eyes look all that great. they're supposed to be blue, but are most often green.
