I am working on a noise gl1200 and need to know how to dajust the valves. Yes i know buy a service manuel

then maybe you can explane the ecentric adjusters on the head??

OH by the way i am a baby boomer and i work in a honda shop, but someone took the manuel and we know not who.

Thank you for your info but according to honda you can use a speacil tool and re pump up that lifter. you do not need to discard the lifter.

That bike has hydraulic valve adjusters.
They're not adjustable.
They can collapse and then would need to be replaced.
If you "know", buy a service manual, then do it before they go out of print.
Baby-boomer mechanics are retiring and newbies don't know how to work on bikes older than 10 years.
