Oh Salsa..I do both! I even keep all the cards that loved ones have given me. I love to also dream about the future...if we lose our dreams, we lose so much! Only thing I wish I would not do is relive the bad memories, there are days something will happen, that will make me remember something from my past..that makes me even cry...as if it was hapening all over again...or I wish I could have made it better...such as my dad...he was a alcoholic and I hate those memories. Thanks for the great Q.

Both I guess a little. Our memories are precious, but I think a lot about the future. God tells us to not look back, but to press forward, and to have a vision, or we will parish. I dream about being a grandma someday, and growing old with my husband, and when the kids are grown, I want to adopt a child from an orphanage, maybe two. I will continue to also adopt rescue dogs from shelters as well. I want to have my poems published and my photography someday. What I want most is to see my deaf son grow up to succeed and be happy in life, to know he will be fine. And as long as everyone I love makes it to heaven someday, well I'm good then.

I keep all of my good memories in a little gold box under my bed, so when I want them, I have them. I keep my dreams in a silver box. Sometimes, I open both boxes at the same time and realize so far I've had a wonderful life and that there's more to come!

Absolutely. Memories make me smile and help me to remember that life is not always that bad. Having dreams for the future gies me something to look forward to and work hard for.

I do both, i try to just take life as it is and make the best out of it, but you cant help but look back at how good or bad things were in the past.
