Seal Rock hotel is very almost precisely that fee... super section (Outer Richmond, proper with the help of the Cliff domicile/Sutro Heights Park/Sutro Baths/Ocean sea coast/Lands end, elementary accessibility to a pair super eating place strips), super perspectives, the diner downstairs makes the main suitable omelets. it is not very needed, however, and not around any shops. often if human beings from out of city are traveling and prefer a inn and are not completely strapped for funds, that's the place i might propose. inn 6 is regularly quite much less, yet not plenty. the single in SOMA a minimum of is greater needed and on the factor of Westfield Mall. not something maximum persons might think of of as a "effective community", notwithstanding that is completely positive. the days hotel on Grove St. is in specific circumstances around that fee, looking on once you e book. especially needed region, walkable to Westfield Mall, or a speedy subway holiday away. In Hayes Valley, a block or so off the main strip (particularly sleek strip, at that). yet another one friends/out of section nuclear family members have stayed. For great much less costly, there are countless hostels/residential lodges with inner maximum rooms contained in the Tenderloin/decrease Pacific Heights (Encore exhibit is composed of ideas... one course is "effective", the different isn't - returned, that is positive, secure, all that... yet seedy). inner maximum rooms with a shared bathing room for like $50/night. For $20-30 greater you may get a room with a private bathing room (in some, besides). And definite, they are going to ask for identity.

You're talking cheap and decent. Won't happen in the City. Doubt if you'll find anything under $100 a night.

If you want to go that cheap, I'd recommend checking out hostels instead. There's a very nice one at Fort Mason, which is walking distance to the Fisherman's Wharf area:
