He threw a "Christmas" party. He made me a drink and at some point, I looked at my glass and thought I saw a fly or something in one of the ice cubes, so I threw the drink out in the sink....EVERYONE yelled: "NO"!!! at the same time and I got really confused, until I looked into the sink and realized that what I thought was a fly in the ice cube was an engagement ring. I started crying, and he got down on his knee in front of everyone, and asked me to marry him...I said yes (of course!) and everyone started clapping and cheering and I realized they were all in on it.
It was very cool.

One summer we decided to walk the river just for fun...and that was where we first kissed so I took her back there to propose. I picked her up from work (after dark) and told her that we were going to go look at some land (at this time we had talked marriage but not anything too seriuos) I told her that she had to be blind folded to do so. So I took her to the river, where I had already set up a blanket with candles around it, walked her down the boat launch and told her to take the blind fold off. When she did I was on one knee in the edge of the water.
Long story short she said yes. We opted not to use the blanket since it was early February and cold as all get out

We were in Las Vegas and were playing slot machines. He looked over at me and asked me if I would like Elvis to marry us. I was surprised and thought he was joking. I said ok. The next morning an Elvis impersonator married us.

in a parking lot (A Nice Family Restaurant) before we went out to eat 1 week after thanksgiving In 1979!
He just said I have something for you ....and gave me a velvet Maroon box. I opened it up and it was empty but he kissed me and showed me his pink finger...well I said ye of course!
