Because 50% don't fail and they hope to be in that statistic.

Besides, why not marry even if most marriages eventually end? Most things that have a beginning, have an ending. A relationship ending isn't a bad thing...it's quite natural actually.

I don't know where that statistic comes from but I see it quoted often. Then I look around and see that most of my family and friends have been happily married for a long time.

I think where that can be Miss-leading is that if someone has been divorced 4 times, that means there are 7 married couples that have stayed together. It skews the statistics.

It's what we do, no one gets married well not everyone gets married thinking they will get divorced. We have the mentality that it won't happen to me.
