Why does it make a difference if you want to get to know someone before you have sex with them??
Why do some guys/gals want sex to be first?

I would rather get to know a person first, before I do anything. So going without for over a year is well worth it, if in the end I can find someone true.

Sadly sex has become about instant gratification and not about love and intimacy. Sex was designed to be special between two people who genuinely love each other, but it has been turned into something almost dirty.
I can promise you that being intimate with my wife whom I am in a committed relationship with is far greater than any other relationship I have been in.
Lastly those that want sex first or sex only are that way because they are being selfish and are trying to fill a void in their lives. Sadly the void will still be there even after the sex...

The reason you want to know them first is to find out about diseases or problems with the person in general maybe they're a lying crazy weirdo with a good front face.
Sex is important to the relationship (best part of some) but it's not the only thing.
They just want sex or some want to know if your any good before what they don't realize is that even if your not you can learn to fit their needs-trained so to speak-cause if the rest is a match then sex is the easiest thing to fix.

Well there are plenty of reasons , If you want respect ,wait the guy will wait to and it will be all the more magical when you decide both of you are ready , more than just wam bam thankyou mam , Next!!!!!Besides once you have sex they expect it all the time and or whenever they want its hard to back down once you've put out. Lets see raging hormones , experimenting, another notch in the belt/lipstick case, curiosity killed the cat satisfaction brought it back. If you want to be easy and don't care or want a lasting relationship , do what you want or shall I say who you want whenever you feel the need. Me personbally love making is great but intamacy is not necassarily sex. Holding is so nice and I get more pleasure on a deeper more personal level bonding like that...To each there own.My motto is TO LIVE AND LET LIVE. It is because you will be affected by his or her previous sex relationship. Sometimes it could be healthy, sometimes not, it depends on the person asking.
If a guy/gal think of sex first it is just a showing of unserious relationship he planned for that girl/boy. He/she will just have sex to the girl/boy then afterwards leave it. They are doing this because they do not feel any love to the other person, likewise he do not have any respect at all. He/she is just being selfish, they only think of their own happiness, they don't care about the others feeling. Sometimes they are doing it just for the sake of experimenting, counting and competition.

I fell that sex is not that important. I would rather have a manful relationship with a man than just having sex with him.
My husband is just really finding that out because we have two small children and never have any time to are self for sex, So sex is not all that important in a married especially if you have children.

That important for WHAT?
They want it FIRST because they're thinking with their glands. Instead of their brains.
When they're headed for the parking lot, they're not thinking -- this picture could wind up on the internet as a "priceless" joke. I could get all kinds of diseases from this person. What will I do if I pass this person at the grocery store in 2 weeks or 2 years.

Yes, yes it is.
Usually, if someone wants sex first, they want sex -only-. Instead of a big complex relationship with all the hassles that go with one, they just want to get their jollies and move on to the next thing.
There is nothing wrong with that, as long as your honest about it up front. There is also nothign wrong with prefering a full relationship to a purely physical one. It's all about personal preferences and tastes.

Afraid its the world we live in, I don't understand it myself.But just because others want to sleep around with every tom dick and harry they meet, doesn't mean you have to. I'm getting on now, but I do know that boys tended to hang around a lot longer with feelings for me, when they couldn't get what they wanted after a couple of dates. Oh yes blokes have always been the same if they can get it on the first date they will.

It's not the be-all and end-all. I guess if you don't really care about a person that much then you want to have sex with them before getting to know them becasue you just like what you see.

sex is important if you make it...its a smart idea to get to know the person because hello look out for STD'S its wide spreading and a pain to deal with specialy for women, and those who rather have sex first because they are looking for the physical aspect and maybe thats it, most guy or girls who want sex first are just looking for a quick one night stand, if your good they will come around but little room for growth in that union! sex is better with two people love eachother its proven! even men enjoy sex more when they really care about the girl! i didn't think it mattered for men but it does, sex is human and feels great when its good! i'd like to make love to my bf when i get off my period! lol horny much? yes i am! lollllll peace out!
