Well, honestly

I am a really THICK skinned person. Someone would have to be really really mean to me.

I did have a person who was close to me hurt my feelings really bad once, and I reacted. Big Time.

By the way--If that happened to you i am sorry to hear it. SMILE!

I usually react, because I don't appreciate getting my feelings hurt and I think the person that hurt my feelings should be aware of the fact that they hurt me so they won't do it again... I think holding it in just makes everything worse. If someone hurts your feelings you should always let them know so they can try to better themselves and not say hurtful things in the future.

Being verbal, I always talk about it to the one that hurt me, but I don't attack them. I tell them what they did hurt me - which always softens their reaction and not be defensive. After I've calmed down I will let them know, not when I'm angry or upset.

After I make my peace with them, then I leave it alone. As long as I do my part then that's all I can do. You can't make some one apologize but if they truly care they'll come around.

If that person matters to me...I would talk to them and let them know..because they matter. If it is a stranger or a person I am not close to..I would say nothing...for they r not worth my emotions...so I would not let my feelings take over...only the ones I love deserve my emotions.

I tell them what exactly they said to upset me. I tell them right away, and if they give me attitude then i give it back. . . I dont like people pushing me around and they learn very quickly that i am a very loving and kind person, just be that way to me, or i let you know EXACTLY how i feel

I write their name down in a little book, and years from now I'll see them crossing the road and run them over. Then I will cross their name out of my book.

I'm a Christian and my reaction is to try to forgive the person. This is often easier said than done. If forgiveness is hard and a challenge, I ask God to help me to forgive.

I usually don't talk to that person for a while and just stew about it. After a while I don't even remember why I'm mad, and we're friends again.

My parents always said "sticks and stones can break my bones, but names can never hurt me" and I live by that rule even today.

Say something rude back and then ignore them and stay away from them for a while.
