An ode to the loves of my life, sailing and alcohol!
"Oh lord above, send down a dove,
with wings like shining razors.
And slash the throats of them there blokes,
wot sells bad beer to sailors."
Thanks for allowing me this opportunity to express my innermost emotions, I'm welling up with tears now!
Love can do this to the strongest of men.
So can methylated spirits carefully strained through a loaf of bread to get rid of the methyl violet and then guzzled from an old paste bucket!
