STYLE! Pure style and fit baby. Price is no object, and if the quality ain't there, they won't fit well. I can NOT wear cheap sneakers.

A little bit of both. I refuse to spend over $90 for a pair of sneakers, nice dress shoes I will pay more for but sneakers I go for comfort and quality. Not style.

I buy all footwear for quality, but, price can be a deterrent, which is why I'm currently wearing 8 year old sneakers. I tend to take care of my things.

Ye gods...90$ for a pair of shoes and I have trouble getting Truck to pay 30$....well, hers come into contact with diesel fuel and will last 3 months at best. I make her buy new ones every 2-3 months -- and Gods help me when that happens....
We buy shoes at Walmart (say nothing, it's cheap) and if I can find shoes for her or I at St. Vinnies for 2 $ that are in good shape, I'll pick them up.
I'm not looking for dress shoes, I have 5 pair of good ones and that's enough to last a Lady the rest of her life.

Fit and finish. Ive tried on some of those extremely outrageously priced sneakers and found them to be very poorly made! Even on sale I would not buy them!

I buy what FITS and I know will LAST me more than 3 months.
"style" or "name" means nothing to me.

Quality.

If it fits right and is comfortable, I don't care what the price is (to an extent, I'm not going to pay $300).

Knicks coach Jeff Van Gundy, who accused Jordan of "conning" players by acting friendly toward them, then attacking them in games.

"I just so happen to be a friendly guy. I get along with everybody, but at the same time, when the light comes on, Im as competitive as anybody you know."

quality ... in the long run if you buy a crappy pair you will end up having to buy another pair and therefore having to spend even more money ...

remember - you get what you pay for

I'm a penny pincher....so usually price. BUT...I only buy Nike (cause I like 'em) and I always look for a discount outlet.....I NEVER pay retail...that's just stupid. My clothes are to clothe me...not exude my social status.
