haha yes! my senior year in HS there was a really cute younge new teacher. He clearly knew I had a thing for him. He would talk to me which was weird because I wasnt in any of his classes-and I would be hanging off his every word!! One day my bestfriend and I were walking down an empty hallway to leave school and she said something along the lines of me wanting him and I said of course..I turned around and he was RIGHT behind us-I was mortifed.I think its totally normal to have a crush or an attraction to a teacher at one point!

No, I'm a teacher myself and I have heard things about teenage crushes like that but it never really goes into anything so don't worry about your friend or whoever it is that fancies (or loves) the teacher or professor.

Yes its common but most times bad seein how the teacher could lose their job the best way if the feelings are mutual is to wait until the student is out of school.

I did back in the 60's and the Drama teacher was so so good looking. I had a hot crush on him, it turned out in the end he was expelled through having sex with a 6th former!!

Love to help with a survey!
Actually... yes, I had a crush on a young and breathtakingly smart Latin teacher... ;)) He inspired me to learn Latin... :) The crush faded and we've had a nice normal teacher-student relationship ever since.

it's a bad thing to do...and a bad thing to encourage....it means frustration, hurt, and even jail time for the teacher and ruining their career and possibly even their entire life. Why would anyone be so mean and spiteful to do that to a teacher?

To be absolutely honest, yes I did.
In fairness, she was a student teacher and I was only 10, so this doesn't really count - I hope.
