Historically Republicans (although I hear that more Republicans than Democrates voted for the equal rights amendment), currently Democrats.

Edit: I should clarify that I mean recent history (like 30-60 years ago) since the Republican party originally formed to be to the ant-slavery movement like what the Green Party is to the environmentalism movement today.

Democrats. In my experience, Republicans (and I mean the average run of the mill person along with politicians) judge people based on their merits, and they give jobs to people based on ability and qualifications.

Democrats seem to make race out of an issue even when it has no bearing on the situation and are the party that created quotas. By the way if look at the history book Abe Lincoln was a Republican.

jointly as this is actual that the Republican occasion, the occasion of Lincoln, did unfastened the slaves, The Democratic occasion, interior the 1960's, promoted equivalent rights for all. At that element, the racist Democrats left the occasion, and joined the Republican occasion. This replaced the bent of the Republican occasion, and to right this moment, many in that occasion have promoted racism, to the detriment of their occasion. The squeeky wheel gets the grease, and the racism card gets performed generally because of the fact maximum folk of people chosen President Obama. it is to no longer say that each and each physique those interior the Republican occasion are racist, yet they do no longer talk out whilst fellow neocons invoke race as a foul undertaking for u.s.. subsequently, they get categorized because of the fact the occasion whilst the main vociferous of the neocons talk in racist tones

Democrats are the only party that regularly uses racism as a tool.

I can't think of a single time when any Republican candidate ever did anything racist or used race baiting.

Well, I will tell you this. It was a Republican who freed the slaves. Abraham Lincoln. The Democrats [at least southern democrats] were all plantation owners and they needed the security that slavery had to offer. It seems that the only time that believe in PEOPLE, is when it benefits their agenda.

I am conservative and not racist. My husband is conservative and rasist. His father was democrat and very rasist.

I don't think either party really knows how to handle the race issue right. But then again, how do you handle an issue that has no right answer? Nomatter which issues are brought up, there will always be problems.
