Maybe he thinks a mouth is dirty, full of bacteria...germ-a-phobe? Maybe you could slowly show him the joys of kissing.

maybe he has a canker sore, I had a friend who always wanted to kiss me but I would always turn my head because I couldn't stand the way his lips looked, he had the ugliest shaped lips. they were too big and wide yuk!! I could not even stand to look at him in the face because all I could see are his lips. I didn't want to kiss my other ex boyfriend because he smoked I told him either he quits or I will never kiss him. and I didn't. another reason I don't kiss is if the man spits! I hate men who spit! yuk!!! and finally another reason I don't kiss is I hate really wet kisses, I cant stand to think I am putting all that saliva from a guy into my mouth yuk!! I like dry kisses especially french kissing. these are all the reasons why I wouldn't kiss. it is possible as the other poster said that he is somewhat germaphobic. just ask him and see what it is. ask him to be open and honest then be prepared for some hard answers but don't criticise or judge him for answering the question you posed to him, remember You wanted the answer.

oh wow.. there are a lot of reasons. Paranoid about his breath.. or bad teeth ... or if you just got done doing something else... or maybe he just has a thing about mouths (like some people can't stand touching other peoples feet).. or maybe you're the "other girl" and that's his way of not feeling guilty (there was no emotion, I swear!)... or maybe just fear of intimacy.
Those and many, many more.. there's just not enough info to know.

If this is a guy you are hooking with, not dating, he is keeping his emotional attachment seperate from the sex. He doesn't want to develop feelings and he probably thinks that if he doesn't kiss you, you won't develop them either. Just because a guy sleeps with you, does not mean he likes you.

this may sound silly but
* him or her having bad breath
* him having bad teeth and not accepting that
* maybe he don't feel that way Kisses mean more the S*x
* maybe he has mouth cancer or some nasty condistion
think about it would you kiss a hooker you can put a condom on a stick and not get nothing!
