my white cloud minnows well one of them have a enourmouse bulge on the bottom of her bell she isnt ill but i think she might be redy to lay her eggs is this true ? and how long untill they hatch ?

i have a goldfish in there aswell is it a treat but hes harmless

umm im not 100% sure on how and when they lay eggs but i do know that if you have other fish in the tank you might want to move her or get one of those little net houses you put at the top because when they hatch they will get eaten. i had guppies and the tank was to small for one of those nets and i didnt have anywhere else and they were almost all gone in 2 days and a few survived for about a week then they got eaten as well. best advice i can give.. sorry.

white cloud minnows lay eggs which hatch in 2-3 days depending on the temperature. if the tank contains only white clouds and lots of plants there's a good chance you'll get some babies because white clouds are not avid egg eaters and seldom bother the young ones as well. of course it pays to keep them well-fed
if you want to remove the female for breeding remember that she still needs the male to fertilize the eggs
