not thinking about rape, but do men become somewhat more aggressive in sexual situations? do these feelings come from the same place in the brain

Well, it depends on the man, of course. Each situation is individual. But, yes, men's basic wiring is programed with time old behaviors like aggression, protection, and dominance. These behaviors are centralized in bed due to the fact that they were primarily mating behaviors.

a lot of men are more like hunters when it comes to sex. That's not to say we are aggressive so much as to say we like a good challenge. Think of it like a cat with a toy. As long as you can keep the toy away from the cat.. it stays interested and keeps trying to catch it and play with it... but as soon as it catches it... it bites on it for a second... then gets up and starts to walk away... now if you can start the chase again.. the cat is right back in the hunt.... if not.. it'll go of and take a nap.


wow.. we really are like cats with toys when it comes to sex lol.

There are most certantly some people out there who associate violence with sex, they are called "masochists"! But I don't believe that any emotions come from the brain. Your brain is just a hunk of meat (an important one but just that none the less). Emotions come from ones soul!

The hormone testosterone plays a big role in both aggression and sex drive.

There is an old saying, " Agression is a sign of sexual frustration." It can apply equally to men as woman.
