Banks remain open on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve unless those dates fall on a non-business day like Saturday or Sunday.
New Year's Day they will be closed.
That is how it usually goes but maybe some banks will do it differently....
If Christmas and New Year's were on a Saturday, the banks certainly may close on the Friday before.
Actually, I have no idea... call the bank!
god bless

It's going to vary from bank to bank - most of them close in observance of national holidays (like Christmas and New Years Day) ... and some will close or limit their hours on the eve of those holidays.
You'll have to check with the individual bank...

Yes to Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, no (i think) to New Years Day. 99% sure that's right.

Holiday "eves" are not the holidays.
If Xmas eve and New Year's eve happen to fall on a regular business day, the banks are open.
You may notice that NO banks, in the US, ever have a four day, holiday weekend. By law, they must be open, at least, four out of the five weekdays.
Don't you just hate those people who answer "I don't THINK so."? If they don't, actually, know the answer, why to they respond to the question?

They are open on the Eves, but not on the Days. Like x-mas eve they are open, but x-mas day, they are closed.
