Glenn Beck is a Mormon just as Mitt Romney and said Romney's faith is a "non-issue...Who cares?" And yet, this is the same guy who asked Congressman Ellison, a follower of the Muslim faith to prove he's not a terrorist. I mean faith "doesn't matter," right? Unless you're a Republican and someone has a faith that's not your own. THEN it matters...
Thoughts?

I like many of my fellow Americans never once thought or wanted to know whether or not Ellison was a "terrorist." What does that say about you if you did? Not ALL Muslims are terrorists. Just like not ALL Christians shoot doctors who perform abortions.

Glenn Beck likes to think he is in the middle, but he obviously isn't. I don't listen to the talking heads any more, sorry...but you did prove your own point.

as quickly as back, context ought to be handed over of the photograph with a view to paint Beck the way Liberals want. Context is the enemy of Liberalism. in case you particularly pay attention to the clip, you will pay attention Beck making a remark on the predicted a million% of Islamic terrorism. He says, "i myself think of that is nearer to 10%" he's not asserting that 10% are terrorists. in certainty, you pays attention that that is greater a play on words, pushing against the a million% declare than an easily fact of a severe point 5-10% of terrorists. additionally, in CONTEXT with what he exchange into speaking approximately before, he seems to be questioning approximately people who help the targets of terrorism to boot to easily terrorists in those musings. If I have been you, i could be mad. no longer at Beck, yet at people who led you to have faith that he exchange into actually asserting that 10% of Muslims are terrorists besides as all the different diatribe against Beck this gave them the excuse to throw in at no greater desirable value.

First of all let me state that I am not a Glenn Beck fan. With that said I think that you are missing the boat. The one thing that Mr. Beck does is throw questions at people that show their hypocrisy. I assure you that those making the biggest issue out of Romney's faith are Democrats who are supposed to be the party for the minority.

Primarily because Ellison has defended terrorists in the past and was alleged to have been a financial supporter of several groups with ties to overseas terrorist entities.
I'd say that that is a pretty big distinction between the two situations.

Come on...You honestly can't see the difference in the interview with the Muslim Representative and NOT caring about Romney being a Mormon? Last I heard, Mormons aren't seeking to destroy America.
Beck was very up-front with the guy. He was asking the question that many people secretly wanted to ask but were too PC to do it. If I was the guy, I'd welcome the opportunity to put those cards on the table. When representatives from your own religion are seeking the destruction of our country, asking where you stand in relation to those people is a fair question.

It certainly doesn't matter to Beck...he's a Morman.
The reality is there are going to be people who won't for for Romney because he's Mormon, for Obama because he's black, Hillary because she's a woman, and Giuliani because he's an adulterer....it will be hard to change their minds because that is their opinion. The world changes very slowly...but it does change.
Beck is just another of the "do as I say but not as I have done" kind of conservative commentators. I enjoy watching him, until he goes off on one of his utra-neocon rants.
It's just his opinion and it means no more, or less, than yours.

This has little to do with Glen Beck being a Mormon and more to do with his being a Republican.

It is pretty inconsistent, I'll admit. But I've never heard of a Mormon blowing up a building, or himself, or proclaiming hatred of anybody, let alone Jews and America. There are some Muslims who have done so, and who continue to do so, and that raises the question, whether rightly or wrongly.

I've not noticed many Mormons blowing themselves and/or World Trade Centers and/or Marine barracks and/or jet liners up lately.
