Your insinuation on how the child was raised is insulting at it's best. How about the 24 yr old who is the son of a very religious family and a father who is a Neurologist-what category do you think he fit in before he went on the rampage at the Church?

Look at the long hair. It's a dead giveaway the boy had suffered from the influences of liberal thinking. He may have had conservative parents but the effects of outside liberal influences caused him to give up and blame someone else for everything. And when you put the blame on someone else you want to lash out.

Conservatives realise what happens to us is almost always our fault. We may blow our brains out because of our mistakes--But we don't take others who are not responsible with us.

I find it funny that the nanny state is a liberal myth. I live in NYC and we have had two Republican mayors and our last governor was Republican. Both instituted plenty of nanny state laws.

Does it matter or does the fact that a mentally ill person had access to weapons mean nothing to you? Keep political labels out of this one. It is tasteless and shameful.

I love the term "liberal nanny state," especially when it comes from someone who belongs to a party that desperately clutches at Bush's apron to hide from terrorists - at all costs, even those of personal freedoms.

:-)

It was a combination of mental illness, a broken home, inattentive parents and weak gun laws.

But mostly, mental illness.

Why do you turn a tragedy into a political topic??
EVERYTHING in life does not boil down to liberal or conservative!!
Tragedy should NOT be used to bash a political opponent, or party!
It should be a time of mourning, and for healing.
Not this.
