Actually it is stated, ambiguously.....you just have to figure it out! Even in the Bible Gabriel appeared to Mary.
In the Catholic Religion, March 25th is the Feast of the "Annunciation", where the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary and Announced to her she was to be the Mother of Jesus! (Impregnated)...No, not by the Angel, you nasties, thru God's will.
So, all you doubters, if you figure Mar.25 to Dec.25... EXACTLY 9 months. Also, F-Y-I Jesus was Circumcized on Jan. 1st. "Feast of the Circumcizion" (also New Years Day).
I once met a 'jehova's witness' who said Mary conceived on Dec. 8th....so, if that were true, how could Jesus be born on Dec.25? Well, that's easy........Mary, herself, was born on Dec 8th. She did not Conceive of Jesus on Dec 8. I think he got confused because the Catholic church Celebrates Mary's birth on Dec. 8 and named it "Feast of the Immaculate Conception"....so, he thought the Church was referring to Jesus' Conception.
Two things you should never argue, "Religion & Politics".... lol...lol.. Have a Merry Christmas, folks!

I've been through a bible study about the virgin Mary. Although it doesn't ever state specifically that she was pregnant for 37-42 weeks, scholars have determined that the time line suggests a normal gestation. Other than conception, it was a completely normal pregnancy and birth. No one knows for a fact though. That's where faith comes into play.

You can kinda figure it out, but not from the dates that the church celebrates - these obviously came AFTER and were designed to be at the right times to fit with a normal pregnancy.
After Mary found out she was pregnant, she went to visit her cousin Elizabeth, who was 6 months pregnant with John (the baptist) at the time.
Mary stayed with Elizabeth for "about 3 months".... long enough for John to be born, and for Mary to help out with Elizabeth's new baby, but not so long that travelling home would be a problem for Mary as her own pregnancy progressed.
Poor old Mary, getting home just in time to realise that she needed to pack again for the trip away to Bethlehem with Joseph!

Mary exchange into for sure no longer a virgin. If the bible tale is everywhere on the fringe of the certainty then she might have carried slightly one for a complete term of approx 9 months. the certainty of the situation is that she conceived slightly one interior the conventional way (sexual family with a roman soldier) and that is totally accessible she exchange right into a elementary concubine. the entire "virgin" beginning element insults everyones intelligence and is in user-friendly terms a cover up... nicely greater of an outright lie relatively! interestingly this jesus anybody is going on approximately exchange into born in July and that they moved the celibration to co-incide with a pagan occasion. Christianity is principally in keeping with lots of rumour and superstition. it is going to never stand the try of time
