So Technically I can't test until the 22nd and I know thats along time away so I have NO intentions of testing before then but its one of those things that just makes you wonder!!! I want to know NOW LOL! How does everybody resist the urge??? I mean I am getting so anxious and I might not even be pregnant!!! But what a great thing that would be to announce at Christmas!

What is BFP? I Don't really understand most of the abbreviations or initials!

I know, it's very frustrating. I haven't told anyone that we're TTC, because I want it to be more special when I actually have news to share. Yes, Christmas would be a wonderful time to announce your pregnancy but there are other wonderful times too... like Mother's Day! I hate waiting so I feel your pain. I resist testing now because I know it will probably show up negative and I don't want to deal with that dissapointment now. Sometimes I feel if I wait I'll get a more accurate response to the test and hopefully that response will be positive. Good Luck to you!!!

Your doctor (if you have a REALLY nice one) may be willing to do a blood test, but not likely. I buy my pregnancy tests in bulk on ebay (sounds crazy I know!) but then I can take one every other morning without feeling like I'm throwing money away... it just seems to make the time pass a little faster. then on the morning of (4 days before I start) I take a digital test- there is no confusion, they're the most acurate the earliest.
BUTTTTT.... you know how excited kids get on Christmas morning? What if you wait till then to take your test so you can wake up crazy excited too? If you start your period before then, well you just wish for a January pregnancy and maybe relaxing after the holiday rush will help you get pregnant anyway!
I always "invent" symptoms ion my head too and feel light headed, morning sick-like, cravings ect... so I keep peeing on sticks till I know for sure! I'm sure that's mental, but whatever helps you! Good luck and baby dust to you if it's the right time!!!

I resiset the urge by reminding myself that tests are expensive so there's no point in wasting them!
Even if you do get your BFP, would you really annouce that early? I would be afraid to!
BFP is big fat positive- and I don't know why I got thumbs down for my response. Most people don't share pregnancy news until three months, when most of the danger of a miscarriage has passed.

i have felt like this for about 2 weeks!!!! Am only a day late and still no postive test.
It has been the longest time too!! Time passes so slowly when you want it to speed up!

I don't resist. I bought a bunch of INTERNET CHEAPIE TESTS(30cents a piece/20miu). I can justify using them whenever I feel like it.

Try an EPT or first response test... from the drug store... ;)
