When my neighbor across the street committed suicide on Saturday. The agonizing cries of her husband just about undid me as did the thought of how her 7-year-old son would take it when he found out. Then there was knowing I'd never see this beautiful, usually happy woman again. I was just getting to know her. Now I never will.

A documentary about Christian Evangelism in the southern US, and how in some churches children are systematically brainwashed into believing their church's religious agenda, to the point where they start having seizures and thinking that they can hear the voice of God.

Many of these children lived in strictly religious households, were home-schooled, and knew nothing about the world outside their homes and churches. It was absolutely heart-breaking to see these children have every iota of imagination and innocence sucked out of them as they became closed-minded religious zombies with no capacity for independent thought. I haven't cried like that in a long time.

Don't remember. Dim and distant past. I don't tend to "cry" any more.... It might have been a few years ago when I watched Episode 17 of RahXephon...

Last time my eyes watered was this morning though... due to the brightness outside compared to the darkness of the flat. The cold air didn't help either.

An excellent off-off Broadway production of "The Boys Next Door" I saw about 7 years ago.
