Collaborate with your family! A lot of times other members of the family might know what she needs or wants - and there are a lot of horse things that cost quite a bit (but are needed), so try to see if you could go in with someone to buy a new blanket, a pair of boots, or something along those lines.

Back In The Saddle is a really great catalog for gifts for an equestrian. I love their jewelry - it shows your love for horses while also being very stylish. They have a wide range of gifts for every age as well, and while some of their stuff is on the expensive side, they also have some more affordable items.

Depending on how much you want to spend, you could give her something that keeps on giving, like a subscription to a magazine (I like Horses Illustrated), or riding lessons for a certain amount of time (might want to find out how much she's paying before you commit to a certain amount of time though).

Hope that helps!

I am a horsey person and if you don't want to spend a whole lot of money, get some nice working gloves or a subscription to Horse Illustrated magazine.

If she has a horse, get a Lick-it bar or a Lick-it wheel to put in her horse's stall.

You can also get a nice helmet cover from certain websites. They come with a picture and her name on it. They are great gifts.

If you know her horse, buy her a big bag of treats, if you would want to make something, make molasses cookies for the horse. Look in the January/Febuary young rider magazine for how-to.

You can also get your sister a digital single lens reflex camera to take pictures of her horse.

Maybe some fun horse books....It depends on how old she is but if she is younger you could get her some picture books of horses....I'm 16 and I still love looking at those types of books. You could get her some horse care books for her future horse?
You could get her some cute horse jewelry...like a pin or earrings.

I give my little sister horsey gifts each year as well. This year she is getting a series of books and a shirt with a horse on it and a bracelet I found with different charms and one has a horse's head.

She also gets a new horse calendar each year as well. Her room is plastered with past calendar pages that she liked best. She has horses everywhere! Have fun shopping!

If she rides in the winter where it's cold, I'd give her the Cozy Cover (you can google search places that sell it)- it's a fleece cover that goes over your helmet and wraps around your neck/chin (covers your ears as well). It's in the 30s here now and mine makes riding so much more comfortable! I used to have a frozen chin after every lesson.

My mom gave me one last Christmas and I love it. I think it runs about $25.

You can't go wrong with either a new pair of riding boots or if she goes to any kind of functions pertaining to horses a new pair of Chelsea boots for dress up. make sure you keep the receipt too so if they don't fit she can return them. Happy Holidays.

Depends on how old she is--but Laurel Burch horse jewelry and/or tote bags and/or sox are great for all ages--everyone likes them and they can be ordered online at Laurel Burch's website. She died recently, so who knows how long her art will be available. I also came across a lovely book at Costco about Vavras and his horse photography. Any of his books would be greatly appreciated by anyone who loves equines.

Umm... idk appropriate to the lifeless animal skulls yet cranium and crossbones are in style best now and you may no longer have plenty difficulty finding some thing that she'd like with cranium & Xbones on it. (watches, charms, shirts, pants, hoodies, socks, slippers!) you additionally can discover out some cds she would not have yet could like. If all else fails, ask her what she needs in specific.
