In my opinion, the Republicans haven't introduced a winning candidate as yet. As you pointed out, Thompson seems to be the same old thing with a new label. Among the other leading Republicans, one reminds me of a game show host, and the other has close relationships with his cousins.

There are plenty of Thompson supporters. I haven't gone anywhere, and am still here. I support anyone who isn't Hillary Clinton, and more so Thompson now than before, since Mitt Romney, who is supposedly against illegal trespassing has had illegals work in his home.
We need to be careful who we vote for when the time comes, and be aware of what is the truth, and what isn't. No matter how many illegals vote, when it is not their right, Hellary will NEVER be elected. Nor will Obama. There are too many questions about him, and he is also GREEN, a follower, party-line voter. He is weak.
A Republican candidate will more like than not be elected president, because they have experience, and know what Americans care about.
This election I think, is more about keeping Hillary OUT, more than it is an election for a RIGHT leader.

I was one of those that were once excited about Fred Thompson.
Fred has been looking very tired of late. He does well with a prepared speech, but he has been terrible in the debates. I agree with him, but he is not exciting anyone!
Not like Huck or Romney, or Obama for that matter.
to tell you the truth, Thompson is about as exciting as....Shrillery Clinton

I liked what he had to say until the last debate when he said abortion should be our number one focus. He lost me there.
I dont see how with all the other problems going on that have an effect on everyone that abortion issues shoudl be number one.

No, I thought he was the one, but he has disappointed me tremendously. He talked the conservative game, but took way too long to get in. He is too much of a federalist for my liking.
