Maybe just a little. At 7 mos, you're already able to prop your bottle up on your own, but a sippy cup may need to be regulated by someone else so that the liquids don't continue to flow when you want to take a little break. I must say...if you're already using a sippy cup by yourself, you have the makings to be a prodigy!

No its better My kids are getting big and still want a bottle they are 3 and 4 i should have started early

Some kids are ready before others but I thought the rule of thumb was over one year old.

no you should start practicing at 6 months. thats what my doc said mix a lil juice with water get the cups with handles on the side. my 6.5 month old loves it.

are you using the cup or is your 7 month old child using it?

for you little one... its fine as long as he or she can use it without too much difficulty... it will help break away from the bottle alot faster

nope.. as long as the baby gets the hang of it.. and is actually getting the beverage out of the cup

no. i started my kids at 6 months...i also began putting the fork and spoon in their hands. ur child will let u know it they are or arent ready.
