Please understand, I know of NO ONE who said we shouldn't go into Afghanistan. We went there for a legitimate reason, to get Osama bin Laden and remove the Taliban, a militia group which not only supported bin Laden's plans to attack the US but also supported various OTHER "terrorist" groups around the globe.

You not find any quantity of weapons (fecal content notwithstanding) in Afghanistan, unless they are the ones we provided them with when they were struggling against the Soviet invasion of the 80s. That's sort of like handing your child matches then smacking him or her when he or she burns the house down.

Six years after the attacks, thousands of dead soldiers, BILLIONS of dollars wasted, and Osama is STILL not in US custody and the Taliban is still in control of vast areas of Afghanistan. When do the families of victims of Sept 11 get THEIR apologies?

And honestly, at this point, Bush's credibility is so non-existent, if US forces "suddenly" discovered a large cache of nukes in Iraq, I would want to see if the US Flag had been recently removed from those bomb casings JUST before discovery.

And why would anyone apologize to YOU? Are YOU in Iraq? Have you had to suffer ANY privation due to this war?

Apologize to the families of dead soldiers for supporting sending their sons and daughters into a quagmire without adequate body armor, edible food or a rational exit strategy.

Apologize to the US Army Rangers Limbaugh called "phony soldiers" simply because they support withdrawing from Baghdad.

Hell, US and Iraqi forces don't even control all of BAGHDAD yet, after almost 5 years. Iraqis living in Baghdad haven't had 24 hour a day electricity or water since the invasion began.

When do you plan on apologizing to THEM?

Well, yes and no.

Yes because it would prove that MAYBE there was a reason to invade Iraq. MAYBE.

No because each of those countries is the size of the state of Texas. Why did it take over FOUR YEARS to find them if we've been looking for them all this time??? What kind of incompetence is THAT?

apologies for what? is there ANYONE who is against the Afgan tour or going after Bin Laden?

i hate George Bush because he ABANDONED Afgan war and has stopped looking for the people ACTUALLY responsible for 9/11.

President bush admitted it... he doesn't care about catching bin laden (link provided)

I think we should be apologizing to the Iraqis for waging war on a country that never attacked us and we killed so many innocent people.

Do it... and we'll see. however if you did it today after declaring victory long ago... would be hard to accept. I'm not sure all of the dead or grieveing American families, really care.

Sure.

And if I could poop cookie dough, I would open my own bakery.

It's been almost 5 years. Maybe there aren't any WMD's to find. Maybe.

Sure. But since that isn't going to happen, will you be extending any apologies?

Will Bush apologise if he doesn't? No. That's your answer.
