You know if you can do some kind of roast . . . I can't . . . I can't make mine come out right . . . But anyway, Roasts of some sort (Bone in or Bone out) . . . Always go over very well for Christmas . . . I can't believe that you would not want to serve Salmon, even if someone else is doing one . . . Good luck. I hope you well.

LOL! My family are deer hunters so we have it almost every year but not always at Christmas we have it at Thanksgiving too!! Along with other things for the Non-deer eating people like me!! I don't eat bambi!

I'm sure my sister doesn't think so. They have lots of deer on their ranch, and my brother-in-law loves to hunt. Of course, they also have feral pigs and wild turkeys there and they would probably me more likely to have one of those for Christmas since that is more traditional.

A venison roast, properly marinated and cooked medium rare is so yummy! And how do you know it isn't Comet, hm?

My Aunt and Uncle do it most years. They also serve turkey for those that don't want to eat deer.
