Just admit it and then agree to disagree about everything. I had a roommate in college that I could not stand. One day I just said to her -- Debbie, I don't know what it is about you, but just being in the same room with you pisses me off. You can quit trying to be friendly (it just screams FAKE). Lets just avoid one another. That worked just fine. You know, after that she didn't bother me so much.

Depends on the circumstances. If it's at work, they can just keep their opinions to themselves and get the job done. If it's at home, I'd want them to admit it then MOVE OUT.
