Do you think USA should inact Middle East tatics to solve theft?

I've been a victim of theft numerous times. The reason why we pay more at Walmart or the mall is to cover the stores loss ratio to theft. The people who are stealing are usually bums or people already receiving welfare "free" from us taxpayers.

Do you think the USA should inact Middle East style punishments for people who are convicted in a court for theft. I would say there would be a limit. Say if you steal over $5,000 worth you lose your hand. Your hand would be surgically removed. Say under $5,000 to $200 you lose a finger.

I would think there would be a dramatic decrease of theft. Our insurance would be lower. The prices in the store would be lower. Your valuables would be safer.

And it would be obvious who is a thief when someone walks in and is missing several fingers and obviously if you don't have two hands how are you going to steal something.

I know it's a little radical, but wow would this change things.

Yes, I agree. OTHER countries that have these laws also have a muc much much lower crime rate than we have here in the USA. GEEEEEEEEE, I wonder why. LOL

I think the USA should adopt laws to cut off the mouths of persons who come up with such dumb *** ideas. So that we are all spared the bullshit that comes out of such minds.
